[MENTION=43542]Elton Lotz[/MENTION] mate, you've clearly ended up in a pickle, read the rules, give the mods what they are requesting and be truthful, it will get you a long way especially in this specific instance, you aren't helping the mods out, you are helping yourself out, if you do not wish to get these cases sold on this specific forum, continue to not help yourself out, take it from me, don't be an outright dick. It shall backfire, ask for help where it is needed when you don't know what is cracking, the community(mods are part of the community jbtw) will gladly help you out in getting sorted what needs to be sorted. The mods are simply trying to help, nor will you become a trusted member of this community that has been built upon trust, simplicity and honesty. If you do not wish to help yourself, well a lot of people are going to be eating a lot of popcorn.

I was one of the guys who bought one of those old sealed units from a Rectron employee off this very forum (for a LOT less than R3500) and yes, they do go for R10k+ *new* and yes, there is nothing wrong with trying to make a bit of profit and this forum is a place where honest people, all creeds, colours, backgrounds and literacy levels (sigh) can sell and buy stuff- everyone wins. BUT dishonesty breaks that which the honest users and the mods work for. Carbonite is just a much a community as it is a platform and NO-ONE likes dishonesty. So, for the sake of all the users, buyers and sellers (And this goes for everyone of course)- don't lie to people. You can ask whatever price you want- supply and demand. Just don't be a dildo about it. The rules are there to protect buyers AND sellers and the mods spend more time than can be considered healthy on this forum to keep it that way.

If proof is an issue, just take a pic of the box. That simple... Because of the age, the tape used on the box has turned yellow and is easy to see on the white part of the packaging. New units have clear tape with a silver Antec logo printed on them. But then again, this is just the case with the tempered glass models (of which only 12 were imported to SA) ...over 2 years ago.

.... I don't know what to say 3.5k for both chassis to much? I bought them through an college at work I'll ask him when he returns where he purchased it from... Well now i guess this place was a waist of my time, I'll remove my add this evening, and I'll unsubscribe. Clearly selling an 10k+ chassis at a bargain sealed and everything is a problem, I'll post somewhere else for 4k each thanks
