I believe the x370 is still one of the best boards for the am4 sockets and ryzen cpu's, the x470 and b450 would probably be a little better, but just because they're better doesn't mean the x370 is bad by any means. As long as your bios version is up to date, you shouldn't have any issues at all

Just update your BIOS with your current CPU in it . Then it's ready to rock.
X370 and X470 are basically identical. X470 just has 2nd Gen Ryzen support out the box.
