These bikes are very low down. And Harleys in general are much more "tame" than normal street bikes. So much more controllable

Also much louder so that cars can hear you and see you which, atleast in Cpt, is a good thing.

You won’t have any issues with the 883 as a first bike. I went for the 1200 Roadster from a 425cc Suzuki and the transition was very easy.
