I've owned the car for just over 3 years. It was initially my daily driver until I got something smaller for my 4km daily commute. Nowadays it gets the occasional weekend drive and if I miss the sound during the week. The bodywork is excellent, any small scratch was covered under the scratch and dent insurance by a proper body shop. Interior is great, no wear on the seats. The rear seats have very rarely been used. Engine runs great and sounds even better. It's been covered by an extended mechanical warranty since I first owned it and anything that needed it was repaired/replaced at the agents. The VF52 turbo was refurbished at the previous service at my request as preventative maintenance. Turbo spool is sounding better than ever.

Really excellent value with them coming from the factory making 195kW. With the exhaust, downpipe and tune it's somewhere at 200kW+. Great acceleration and you can't beat putting in the effort with the manual transmission. Overall a great driving experience and a well looked after example of the 2009-2010 WRX.

FYI

Saw you at Mcdonalds Saturday morning. Also, Those poor tyres

Yep, that was me...Saturday morning walks that end with Mc D's lol. Going from the 8.5's to the 9.5's (with stretched tires) hasn't had any effect on the ride quality for me. I also liked the aggressive look without having rubbing tires so win-win.

Whyyyyy would you put those roof racks on such a nice car?

They're purely aesthetic, I've never actually had anything up on them yet. I think it adds character. They're easily removable for longer trips (300km+) to reduce wind noise.

Man now it looks like some soccer coach's car. I mean no offence lol I would just go without them. Very beautiful car though

I suppose that's what it's like with cars. we do with them what we like. If you're interested in buying it, you're more than welcome to customize it to your taste.

Awesome car. GLWS

I also have a subaru, with two pages of mods.

They just go on and on.

Wish I had money for this. I've wanted a Scooby since I was 15 years young.

GLWS, although I don't think you would need it.

I see that SFC sticker 👀 GLWS bud

I have a 2010 in red, good price, I highly recommend (y)

Narrowbody is the last of the wild Scoobies

Update: Odometer is 138k, not 158k as I originally posted. Drove down to CPT smooth as ice averaging 10.8l/100km.
