Item: 1.5 kVA Pure Sine Inverter + 2 x 65 Ah Gel Batteries
Age: New
Warranty: 2 years
Packaging: Original
Condition: See below
Location: Krugersdorp
Reason: See below
Shipping: At buyers expense once funds have been received

I am looking to sell the 1.5 kVA damaged inverter (Damaged during shipping from China), the only damage to the inverter is some bending to the case. The inverter still works 100 % and has been tested. It still has full warranty. The inverter will be sold at a discounted price considering the damage to the case.

The 1.5 kVa inverter is a pure sine inverter with a UPS function. It would be able to run some lights, a computer and TV (Probably a bit more) during load shedding. The batteries are 2 x 65 Ah Gel Deep Cycle batteries, these are completely undamaged. I am selling the inverter with the 2 batteries as well as the cables to join the batteries for R7000.00.

First come first serve.

I am receiving very little interest on this. What is cause? Price? Or something else?

Updated with some specs:

The inverter has a UPS function thus the batteries are charged by the inverter.

Input - Voltage Range (90V - 280V AC)
Frequency Range (50HZ±5HZ)

Output - AVR (Four steps AVR, 220V±10%)
Inversion voltage (220V±3)
Inversion frequency (50HZ±2%)

DC voltage - 24V DC
O/P waveform - Pure sine wave (Don't want to run anything that is not rectified on a modified sine inverter, Pure Sine is much better for basically all applications)
THD - ≤3%
Transfer time - ≤4ms automatic transfer
Recharge current - 10A—15A
Protections - Protection against overload, short-circuit, and high&low voltage
Unit size ( mm ) - 485*243*363
N.W ( KG ) - 20.5
G.W ( KG ) - 22.5

Function that it will change its frequency instantly. It is able to drive inductive loads, such as air-conditioner,refrigerator, motor, and so on

I don't want to get banned for discussing price, but the general public are ignorant. There are cheaper units available, but they are modified sine wave, not pure sine wave. The person buying this will generally have better knowledge than the Average Joe. Also, this should be paired up with a 100+ A/H battery, 65 is too small, especially at full load, you will probably get 15 to 30 min up time out of it.

And also a link to the unit and batteries would help, the inverter, im guessing 12v input and the output is it 240v ? 50hz or 60hz ? does the inverter charge the batteries ?

It looks like a 24V - the batteries are hooked up in series, assuming they are 12V batteries and not 6V (Don't even know if you get 6V batteries)

But yes, having links would help as well.

Thank you for the feedback, yes the batteries are 12 V each. Assuming full load, the batteries will last around 45min. In most cases full load will not be drawn constantly and thus last much longer. I do have other batteries that can be added such as more 65Ah batteries or 200Ah batteries, which will mean an increase in the price.

As an indication of price for the larger capacity batteries. The 65Ah batteries are R1500.00 each while the 200Ah batteries are R3700.00 each.
