I guess its not a smoking gun, but its not looking good for the GPU. Suppose one thing you can also check is to put your original GPU back and see if anything is different. May be a reseating issue

If possible, the easiest way to rule out a lot of things right now would be to plug the GPU into someone else's computer. If the issue continues, then you know its probably something wrong with the GPU itself.

My mecer 720W blew when using the Mecer 200ah lifepo4 battery. It was on the 20A mode. It's a known issue. The inverter isn't compatible with lifepo4 batteries
