Hi.
Thanks for all the advice, to everyone, much appreciated!
I tried this and still no dice. Went back to 3200 and default xmp2 settings so I could get on my pc again. I've not checked the pins yet, will get to that. What exactly should I change to 1.25 for 1800Mhz? Is it even worth having...
@ThatGuyJD
All 4 are nanya's.
@eyetac
system posts with xmp 1 and 2, but with 3200Mhz instead of 3600. When I go up to 3600 then it fails at dram check and I have to reset cmos.
@Switch
Thanks for the breakdown. I'll try without xmp as well, haven't done that yet, and see what happens...

part number: CMK8GX4M1D3600C18
3600Mhz (running 3200 at the moment otherwise it wont post)
1.35V
@ThatGuyJD
I'll do that as soon as I can.

strange thing is cpu-z shows, under memory...
I seriously hope that's not the case since I don't want to go through that again. I'd rather have 16GB ram than deal with another mobo!!!
If it were bent pins lets say, would all the lanes still be working? I've tested all the modules and all the lanes and they all work, just not all together...
The bios update worked and now the system boots. Had to drop the ram from 3600 to 3200 for it to work though. New problem is that only half the memory is showing. All four sticks of 8GB are displayed in the bios and cpuz but only 16GB ram shows in bios and windows.
This "kit" was sold to me as...
Got the board off takealot showing technical specs that aren't up to date with the ones on asus' website. In hind sight I should've known better but was in a rush for a cheap board to replace the broken msi one. What's happening is that I get past the cpu check but then the yellow dram light...
