RB is prob keeping Ricciardo around for his "marketing and PR value". He was somewhat good in his RB days but still medicare at best IMO, but now I am not too sure if he is still even half as good as back then. I would give the seat to Liam Lawson any time of the day.

I could see Max jump to Merc in 2026 with the new car / engine regulations. Not sure how good the in house RB / Ford engine will be, Then again Max has a contract till 2028 with RB if I remember correctly. Also there is Antonelli. Think Merc will rather give him a seat. Edit : And Newey did...
