This morning i decided to tidy up the area below my desk and unplugged everything (had worked fine up till this point). After cleaning I plugged the Eurolux surge protector into my UPS and as soon as I plugged in the kettle plug for my PC there was a minor explosion/big spark and now my 5700xt seems to be dead. All the other things plugged in seem fine and it wasn't even close to being overloaded (only had a monitor and TV plugged in at that point).
Swapped out the GPU for a 1070 to see and the pc booted fine.
Plugged in the 5700xt again and now the fans just blow at 100% with no display. From what I could find online: I've reseated the cpu. Removed the RAM sticks and reseated them in every config possible on the motherboard, cleared the CMOS and tried another PSU and nothing has made any difference...
Even opened it up to check if there was anything obviously not right and it all looked good to me..
Does anyone have any other suggestions or is done for?
