There's probably no real way to quantify just how much of an impact mining has had on prices. But there is a reason why its so convenient to point that finger. Covid, tradewars, drought, and a surge in demand like we've never seen before. Sure. As you implied, collectively these factors have impacted the price and supply of just about every piece of pc hardware. Everything is harder to come by and everything is more expensive. But lets be fair here. CPU's don't cost double what they did 2 months ago. And I can actually still go and buy one if I wanted to. But GPUs? Bliksem. Why is that?
Look at the international market. Ryzen 5000 is a unicorn. They're often selling for far above MSRP.

Locally, Intel 11th gen is a unicorn. SA's next shipment is only due in 2021Q3.

Some Antec cases such as the NX1000 have an ETA of more than a year.

RAM is up almost 50% from six months ago. I had 16 GB kits of Corsair DDR4-3200 listed for a touch over R 1,300 in December, those same kits are now R 1,955.

Game has no stock of the PS5. Makro and BT Games no longer even list it.

ASUS gaming monitors are almost all out of stock.

Ubiquiti stock levels are the lowest I've seen them in the +/- year I've been keeping tabs.
- What miner is using a Security Gateway and Cloud Key II for their network?
The list is endless. The price increases are endless. The shortages are endless.
