Cyberpunk 2077

Just came across a easter egg that always gives me a smile.
Not to spoil too much but
THE CAKE IS A LIE

Hit a hard wall here - had to jack my guy up before I could finish this one lmfao

Not sure if some of the bugs I'm getting are bugs or intentionally exploitable mechanics since they're so reproducible - love it

I managed to launch myself into space and subsequently just died while driving through the junkyard on the bike.
Was funny as hell, decided to just leg it out of there on foot rather than riding out after reloading.

I sat for almost an hour in my car just listening to the radio stations.

Some really jiving beats

I'm 9h45m in. I play slowly so I'm probably not as far into the game as most here. My experience has been (and still is) fantastic. I have only experienced one bug so far - I am bald when I look at myself in the mirror in my apartment. It did make me flashback to character creation and double check in my mind that I gave myself hair  but man, I am having a ball. Totally immersed in the story. Loving the world and lore, and pretty much everything about it - the eye candy, music, pacing, characters (Viktor is a legend) etc. Perhaps it will change when I'm further into the game but right now I'm in it to win it.

9700k/2080Ti/1440p/HDR off/RTX psycho/DLSS quality/45-62 fps

Had that bug as well on the mirror...the first time i tried the mirror, my reflection showed up with the character not having any clothes on lol...2nd time, was with the clothes on and bald...and 3rd time after the patch, seemed to have displayed correctly now. I did have one bug i noticed an NPC that was walking in front of me carrying a bag, suddenly disappeared...and the bag was suspended in the air...and then vanished...

Tbh I did have another immersion breaking bug but it slipped my mind. My knob didn't touch the floor on character creation

SO I have played about 12H into the game. Nomad. Getting into the bigger main city area is more demanding and where more of the bugs are. Did a race. After I tried to call my car and it could not spawn by me for some reason. Other than that this has been my biggest bug I have seen

Anyone else noticed the HDR implementation is shit? I've gone back to SDR - still looks superb with only ray tracing thankfully.

I had my first crash when entering Afterlife for the first time, thought the game claimed my PC.

Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined, restarted my PC just to be sure and no issues since.

Correct! Sucks and looks way better on SDR. They need to fix this for eyeSexplosion!

Does anyone notice some ghosting/smear when using DLSS?

I’m using DLSS quality and in darker scenes I can see the crosshair smear when moving it.

I haven't seen this. Played a bit to check after reading your post. I'm playing on quality DLSS setting. I didn't test on the other settings (yet).

Some screenshots. Psycho raytracing at 1440p + DLSS Balanced, SSR on Ultra and clouds/fog set to medium.
FPS in the top left.

How do you guys managed to get such nice fps? Im getting dips in the 40s in city with RT on ultra and DLSS on quality. Maybe i should oc my cpu to 5ghz again.

I mean you're gonna get dips but try easing your settings a bit as a start lmfao

Would you rather play on 1080p at ultra settings or 4k on medium settings?

Found these in a box
Holy cow they destroy everything better than my super duper Sammy sword

Pm me if you want to know where they are.

Did you actually kill the guy or just hit and run like I did ?
Tried to kill him once, killed me with one blow. So I changed tactics to hit and run :ROFLMAO:

DLSS balanced gives you like 10.5fps at 1440p over DLSS Quality.
The other 2 settings I tweaked are another 4-5 fps over Ultra.

Not dropped lower than 60fps which is impressive on Psycho RT but honestly the diff between Ultra and Psycho is probably not worth the FPS (think its about 5-7fps).

None at all on DLSS Balanced.

Anyone on AMD cpus, you guys will be experiencing worse performance as the game seems to not be using SMT correctly while Intel CPUs are getting great utilization with HT.
This is probably why 6 core CPUs like the 3600 and 5600X are suffering.

I see there are some exe mods to improve SMT usage but it seems hit and miss. Performance should improve once CDPR patches things officially.
