COD: Black Ops 4

Does anyone know how to make the NAT "Open" with the B315 Router and Rain Sim? I tried port forwarding enabling DMZ as well as uPnP and still no luck.

Can anyone help? Because of this it's a lot harder to join on friends.

Unfortunately if DMZ doesn't work, it's likely some traffic management / routing on the Rain network causing the issue.

For all that care or are following the situation, or new players wondering - Blackout is still completely unavailable in South Africa, across all platforms. Follow the twitter requests for support here and feel free to add your voice to try and get attention from a company that obviously doesn't give a @*#$&:

Mine is moderate and don't have any issue.
I would suggest getting hold of rain and seeing what they can do.

I'm gonna use them when I'm on holiday in December so would definitely hope I don't have the same issues.

Lucky you.

Normal MP is not so much issue but when trying to join a blackout match with friends it becomes a nightmare

I emailed RAIN asking to open the NAT this is what they responded:

Thank you for contacting rain.

Please note that we do support Port Forwarding on the rain Network, as the network uses 1 to 1 NAT on the mobile platform as well.
Please follow the below steps.

ü Please connect to the router (Mostly: 192.168.8.1 and the default username: admin password: admin

ü Go to "Settings" if it is a Huawei (Click on "Settings" then Log into your router with your username and password)

ü Select "Security" in the main menu on the left

ü Go to "Virtual Server"

ü Select the "Add" button

Ø Name: cfos

Ø WAN Port: 80

Ø LAN IP Address: IP address of the computer cFos Personal Net is running on

Ø LAN Port: 80

Ø Protocol: TCP

Ø Status: On

ü Select on “OK”

ü Select “Apply”

I have not tested this as yet but I thought I'll share this here if there is anyone having the same issue on RAIN

That sucks! As they say living in South Africa should be added to your CV... it is a skill.

Anyhow I will do this now and revert back here

I am joining with friends in Europe, only way to find black out games

Guy I know (local) got into several EU games in a row last night. No idea how the game's lobby system works at all.

Also - the 60hz rollout for multiplayer doesn't include us, it seems.

It should eventually. I think this is just phase one. They said all servers will have 60Hz ultimately. Well, MP not Blackout.

Just to be clear we have been playing BlackOut on PC but with restrictions. The problem is that we cannot get games on our own. What we have tried is VPN to most European countries and hosting by multiple players on each VPN client and country. None of these options worked. What did work was that we have a mate on Fibre in Cape Town and he hosts with no VPN. When he does we get EU games within 2 minutes. Problem is he played redemption 2 on Xbox most of the weekend. We have another mate in CT on Telkom LTE but he cannot get games. As for the rollout of the 60hz issues I cannot comment but it would seem as if we have no local servers that work or that have setting issues. Multi player works fine and it is obviously not the same servers as BlackOut.
None of this is usefull since we are 9 players with only 3 open slots. We have logged tickets for support and opened forum pages with no repy at all on Activision and Blizzard pages since Thursday last week.
