The buyer showed interest in buying the product but initially insisted that he will send a courier to pick the watch up but only pay the following week. I declined this arrangement and he indicated he will source the watch somewhere else.
The buyer then contacted me again via PM and Whatsapp badgering me to release the watch and payment will either be done as an initial deposit to show good faith and the rest to be paid later when he finalises a deal. He stated that the watch was on sale for some time and he doesn’t know why I just don’t want to “get rid” of it. I declined and stated that a deal could only be concluded once the payment was done and reflected in my bank account.
Buyer contacts me again and says he will pick up on the 29/08/2019 and do payment. I indicated that the item was not packaged and he could do the deposit and once it clears I will send the watch. He indicated that the deposit would be done and the he will arrange courier. I agreed and made some arrangement to get the package ready as I was not at home so that pick up can be done on the indicated day. The deposit was done but it was not an instant clearance. I informed the buyer to rectify with the bank and he suddenly becomes the aggrieved party and accuses me of being a scammer. He then cancels the deal, requests that when the courier comes I turn them away and a refund be done. Money cleared the night of the 29/08/2019, I contact the buyer to inform him and that the watch can be shipped if still interested. He requested a refund which I did this morning. A total waste of my time by this yoyo!
