I bought the Paintball gun based on the following wording of the ad :
"Age: +- 2 years "
"Condition: Good as new, sat in my cupboard for most of the time "
The above-mentioned led me to believe that the gun is about 2 years old and good as new because it was in his cupboard most of the time.
When I received the gun a POP fell out from underneath the sponge that was protecting the gun in its case. I assume he forgot he put it there.
The slip was from Cash Crusaders dated 1 Feb 2019 for the gun.
So it was clear that he only bought the gun on 1 Feb 2019 and therefore it was impossible for the seller to know the age of the gun and it was not true to state that it was lying in his cupboard for most of the time !
I confronted the seller about this and he claims that he knew the previous owner and that is why he stated the info as per the the ad.
I'm not sure if it makes sense - why did he not buy it from the owner personally - why via Cash Crusaders and pay a higher price?
He was very nice about everything and offered me a refund if I wanted to.
The gun was in a very good condition and nothing wrong with it . So I decided to keep it.
