Item: Valve Steam Deck 64GB (more details below)
Age: +-1 year
Price: Looking to potentially trade (details below)
Payment Method Accepted: N/A
Warranty: Nope
Warranty Holder: N/A
Packaging: I have the original case that the Deck came in new.
More details:
- Deck has been upgraded with a 512gb SSD, and I've purchased a Samsung class 3 512GB Micro SD card which is installed in the Deck.
- I've replaced the original Huaying fan with the quieter Delta fan.
- Other than that, the Deck is like new. Never been dropped, never been used outside of a case.
- I would include the following accessories in the trade: JSAUX ModCase, JSAUX carry case/bag (stores the Deck and protects it quite nicely, even with the Deck in the ModCase (though not with the front shell on it)); JSAUX matte tempered glass screen protector.
- All original parts would be included, specifically the 64GB NVME drive and the Delta fan.
- All original screws in the backplate are intact (and have not been stripped, although Valve used screws with the structural rigidity of cheese).
I am looking to trade the Deck for a gaming laptop. Why? Well, the Deck replaced my desktop which I have previously sold on Carb, which worked out fine because I was able to use my work laptop for everything that I could not do on the Deck. I love my Steam Deck, but it has certain inherent limitations, like the fact that one cannot install printer drivers at an OS level. Most importantly though, is that I do not really use the Deck except in a docked state, so the portability is lost on me.
Item Wanted: A gaming oriented laptop (not necessarily a gaming laptop). I'm looking for something with an i5 processor or Ryzen 5; preferably 16GB DDR4 RAM and preferably an Nvidia RTX3060 6GB/RTX3050. A Thunderbolt 4 port would be nice too but not essential.
Packaging Essential: Would be nice but not strictly necessary.
Desired Age: +- 1 year
Location: Sundowner, Randburg, Gauteng
Willing to accept a shipped item: Yes
Ballpark/Budget Amount: N/A
