Oky YouTube's algorithm has bombarded me with flipper zero content.

Does any of you have one and is it worth the price for the functionality it has?
I'm looking to import one once the have stock again as I don't want to buy a second hand one for 4x the price and having the previous owner do sketchy things with it.

My main goal is to load up all my keys and remotes and just carry the flipper. Nothing else.

I've been looking at these for a while. Would be nice to find one locally.

Hi guys

Maybe I can help

This flipper zero works it's good, but because of the specialised niche it's in

If I remember correctly KEYDIY should have these features needed for something like that, their are lots of tools already existing in the market

I can get one for £192 but it's just a fancy design to replace multiple devices and if you just need one function, there are other products on the market.

I would also check the legality status of importing one to ZA. They should be legal because it's no different from a lot of tools already out there but some governments have panicked and banned it because it's now mainstream.

I would try using the Bad USB functionality but I can get that for much cheaper as just a premade USB.

If you are at all interested in pen testing, try the podcast Darknet Diaries. It's amazing. It talks about real life stories of pen testing and being hacked.

If you can get one for that price, sign me up.

We don't work with alot of electronic ID things in my company although we are trying to phase in slowly but surely.

My main thing is (other than listed above) improve my car's theft resistance. With a device like this it's not months before I hack it to only communicate with a flipper or a randomizer fob.

But if I only get it for the novelty alone it's great.

I didn’t order it in the end.

I wouldn’t use all of the features and I can build the ones I want for much less.

I’m also saving up for my trip to SA in December so I’d rather see about getting it next year.

It’s a cool toy but it’s just that, a toy.

Edit: How do you easily resize that image? It's too big.

You can build a Pwnagotchi for R1750 using a Pi Zero W and a PapiRus E-Ink Display.

You'd need to add a battery bank if you want to walk around with it but that is something that people would have for charging phones during power outages and then you also have a Pi Zero for other projects too.

You can then do some wardriving too and you can add the GPS module for R144 from here.

Add a wifi adapter that can enable monitor mode and you have a good little pentester.

That's half the price and more flexible. Yes, you then need to add the RFID reader/writer but again, that's not too expensive.

I doubt you'd be able to get the Flipper Zero into ZA for less than R4500 + import duties and that's even if the ZA government will let you import it. Some governments have tried to block its import.

Just a heads up the keydiy can’t do the same thing unfortunately it’s super specific

Oky guys I might have a lift for some flippers in March.
Have a job to do in the states and might have a address we can send it to.
At this moment I just don't know how to order one. I tried using a VPN but to no avail.

If anyone can and wants to order some that would be great.

Just got one through Amazon. Took about 2 weeks to arrive.
Having fun with it :)

Is anyone still looking for a flipper? I’m selling my one here on carbonate https://carbonite.co.za/index.php?threads/flipper-zero-complete-pakage.467404/

It’s R6500 for the flipper, ESP32 x3, DuPont cables, prototyping boards from flipper and screen protectors x3, kinda the complete package as you’ll be able to do wifi hacking with the ESP 32(As I have already flashed wifi marauder on it) but tbh it’s negotiable kinda just need money to upgrade my laptop.

Btw I had pay almost 1k in tax bc I had to ship it to UK and get my friend to take it back for me on his way back😅 And shipping fees from Amazons for accessories, so probs better to buy it from me, I have all the exact item links in my post, feel free to take a look.

Pure coincidence but I went into the office and asked the security guy if they were worried about employee ID cards being replicated.

He said that “it can’t be hacked”.

….“One Flipper Zero please”
Off topic, but how are you finding things in the UK with the current cost crisis going on over there ?

Not amazing as I am between jobs and I’ve had a bunch of expenses recently but alright otherwise.

Recent major service for my VW Up! Was £414.

Quite a few jobs out there still so im looking

Hay guys, I'm selling Flipper Zero's if anyone might be interested.

Before any mention of hammers occurs, just check with mods to make sure that any posts advertising tech sales is OK since I can't see if you're a certified reseller or not.

Cool?

Hey guys,

I live in Spain but make my way to South Africa once a year.
I have brought a Flipper Zero with me to South Africa for a friend to avoid import taxes and delivery fees which is CRAZY HIGH btw.
The flipper itself costs R3500(excluding delivery or accessories) + whatever delivery fee from Netherlands -> Spain.
I charged my friend R5000 for the Flipper Zero and I could possibly help out anyone who can't seem to get their hands on the device.

Although its a trust-based transaction and a lot of money and ontop of that, a lot of waiting time.
I thought I'd make a post about it and if enough people are interested then we can work towards a system that won't leave me with a bunch of Flipper Zeros that no one wants and also ensuring that you get the device you paid for.

Take note, I had to handle the Flipper Zero like a Rolex.
Post the empty package with its contents to South Africa via FedEx while wearing the watch to avoid declaring import tax.
This also means that I can't travel with too many of them in case random checks decide to see whats in my bags.
