What ever happened to this? You didn't mention the carwash by name here but did you mention its name elsewhere on social media? If not, it's hard to see how they could possibly argue defamation.

Same it really seems like owner ( poes , old white doos ) just does this to intimidate people but my life was literally feeling like it was falling apart that week so I just complied

I replaced the battery and reset the throttle as per instructions post earlier and car been running great ever since.

I did make sure our company no longer uses them to wash our fleet so there's a good 30/50 carwashes gone every month,


I really would like to pursue it but I have no real evidence.

Some Suzuki's are made far away like the Vitara (Hungary) and Swift Sport (Japan). It's always an issue with overseas cars, I had to wait weeks for a Mazda airfilter.

90% of the modern Suzukis are made in India with plentiful cheap parts so not much of an issue to my knowlege.

For the vitara I could almost understand cause its old but the swift ?

The radiator cap is a problem. A piece broke off and the engine overheated. I was driving from East London to Cape ST Francis. I thought I would have the engine rebuilt as the Grand Vitara is an awesome Vehicle. There were no parts. No rings, bearings, head gaskets. I had to send the car to an auction and got nothing for it.

For the 3.2 V6 or the 2.4? because I can find all those parts for the 2.4 quite easily...
