Deal Thread URL: [Feeler] - Asus Tuf RTX 3060 TI | Nvidia
Seller: @Phantomfrost
Buyer: @zorba
Description of Bad Deal:
Bought a GPU from him last month which I received on the 1st of March. Card has been working fine until this morning. I now have artifacts on the screen (I've attached images below) and the GPU is no longer recognized by my system. When I tried reinstalling drivers the system crashed and started to boot loop. I have tested different monitors, different cables and ports, and different memory and nothing has fixed the issue. My system has integrated graphics and working perfectly with them as soon as I remove the GPU, so I'm certain it is a faulty card.
I made contact with the seller hoping we could meet in the middle on something, I understand it is past the return period however I do not feel it's fair I take full responsibility considering I've only had the card a month. I've attached the chats below if you would like to read them, but essentially the seller is not willing to help or come to a conclusion. The seller also mentioned the the card is a referb, which was not mentioned in the listing whatsoever, This also means I'm the 4th owner of the card, which one again, was never mentioned to me. In my opinion the seller should be responsible as these facts are likely part of the issue, and I would not have purchased the card if I knew these details.
It would be greatly appreciated if an admin can step in and help if possible. If more information is needed I am also more than happy to take the system to a computer store to get a professional opinion.
