I need to replace the CMOS battery on a Thinkpad T460 (It's a standard CR2032 battery but with the 2 pin connector and shrink seal) - and I cannot seem to find online stores that supply this.

I am happy to remove the old cable and connectors from my current unit and jury-rig the replacement but I'm unsure of how to proceed with connecting (attaching) the positive and negative cables to the actual battery before shrink wrapping. Any advice?

TIA

You Tube doesn't have disklikes, so unsure if you gonna blow up your laptop, but it does look fairly simple to "Jerry-Rig" your own

Alu tape! Now why did I not think of this?

I'll make my own later this week. Thanks for the links.
