So, just a quick rundown of what's available:

It's the 4K VR Headset with the Pimax Motion controllers that shipped with the headset from the Pimax folks overseas. This is not the NOLO bundle but rather a bundled motion controller set from Pimax themselves.
If I'm being frank, this is absolutely the best visual quality VR experience I've had. Visuals are crisp and the resolution is simply stunning with absolutely zero SDE (Screen door Effect). I've never been prone to motion sickness on any VR technologies so I cann't speak to how susceptible one might be to motion sickness using this gear. I've noticed it's all down to the individual.

Using Revive, all games from VIVE and RIFT work perfectly. And of course all STEAM VR games work as expected. Within the headset, the controllers take on the HTC Vive look and feel. For a pure visual experience this beats the VIVE and RIFT hands down, theres actually no comparison when it comes to resolution, crispness and pure lack of the screen door effect. From a bang for buck perspective, theres simply nothing else in the market that can offer anything near this sort of VR experience.

The motion controllers and the head sensor are neon purple and neon blue respectively. Lights up like the PS Move sort of controllers. Looks really awesome

Currently running it on a laptop with a GTX 1060 6GB but going on the specs the barrier to VR entry is lower on the PIMAX, from what I've read it will run on certain GTX 9 series cards without that silly VR READY badge :ROFLMAO:

Additional note : There is quite a massive following and thus a massive online repository with a wealth of knowledge on the PIMAX. Also, new PIMAX specific software updates are released all the time.

Hi I looked at the site you are referring and they are selling the nolo and headset for R6000 new but they don't respond to my emails 2 sent 1 yesterday and one early this morning..other than the site you mentioned i cant find any other site in sa selling it this is the only one and then of course ebay sells them also but the cheapest i could get with delivery to the house for the nolo tracking is R4700 and for the Headset R 5000 without delivery it is free international shipping and that you you don't want through the post .. Youtube reviews are good but if there is only one site in sa selling it im kind of suspicious in buying it from this site that does not have a phone nr or repond to my emails..What is your take on them have you actually contacted them ? Did they respond? Why are you selling it for the same price as a the site you are referring to and also why do you sell it it at Nearly 4K cheaper than ebay for the lott as you still nead to make a profit seeing it it is 2 months old?

As the reason in my original post states - I'm selling it for funds for AR

To answer your other questions - You are indeed right - I am selling it for actually less than I paid and way less than what it would cost to get it here off Ebay or other out of country places- but Not everything is about profit - besides, very seldom is profit made from used items in my opinion, even barely used:D

and....BUMP

So what controllers are these? Those knuckle things?

Could you maybe take a photo of everything in the bundle?

Any issues with ghosting or brightness?

The Pimax Knuckle controllers never released from my understanding.

The controllers that shipped with the headset are very much like PSMove controllers ,

Will take some pics and attach tomorrow

I haven't had brightness issues, I know some people say it's a little dark on the resolution, and I know theres even a mod out there where people remove the blue light filter. I don't see the need nor sense in that. The filter is there to protect the eyes and the Vive and Rift does not include this sort of eye protection, but it is available as an optional extra from what I know.

Either way, the filter is what darkens the images somewhat as it's filtering blue light or something along those line. I find bumping up the brightness setting in-app compensates well for leaving the filter in.

As far as ghosting goes, I can't say that I've honestly noticed much of it. Well, not more than the rift I've had before, but some ghosting is unfortunately prevalent in every VR headset I've owned. The thing with small amounts of ghosting is, it doesn't go away, the mind just compensates for it after a while - well for me it does anyway:LOL:
