My PC has been freezing during VLC movie playback, this happens randomly and not every time.
The picture freezes, but the audio continues to play. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del does nothing, also Alt+F4 does nothing.
I would have to resort to holding the power button down to power off the system. Then switch on again and the PC starts no problem.
Last night it froze and I switched off at the power supply and went to bed. Now the PC doesn't come on. The fans start up, the LEDs come on but no video. I've cleared CMOS, switched graphics card slot, no change.

Both landfill brands I know. I don't know what's wrong and what to replace.
