Trying so hard to get into this game, but eish... it is difficult.

Yeah, it certainly ain't no D3 cakewalk. I am 700 hours into the game, and still know jack about the game.

Edit: I am still saving for Kaom's Heart ......... but damn. The prices are wacked. If you look at a +500 health and +40% Fire damage it costs 650c (there is even one for 800c) but if you drop to 39% fire damage its 470c.

Is that 1% really worth 180c ?

The shaping is nice and all but you have to buy the red maps that drop the shapers orbs, complete them corrupted, shape the maps in your quote then uncomplete the map that dropped the orb so it doesnt interfere with the map drop pool of your atlas. Works quite well, problem this season is the 2nd to last challenge, which has quite a few t13/14/15 bosses that you need to beat with certain circumstances, these will unlock the map on the atlas even if its white...

If it is your first time into the atlas just go for all of them, it is not efficient but at least you see all there is on offer. If you get maps you do not like just sell them and run/buy the ones you do.

People like perfect rolled items. Nothing more.

Buy the lowest possible roll and chuck a divine or 2 on it.

I bought my Kaom's at 30% and got it to 40% in 2 divines.

Had a lucky drop last night, got a Kaom's Heart.

Still having no luck with those damn breachlords appearing... Going to burn though a few more maps and push from 90 to 92 on my current character then go for the final end game content.
Got 2 Uber Atziri sets ready, will need to buy the t15 and Guardian maps and pull in some Shaper fragments for that fight.

After that I'll move onto a 3rd character (Pathfinder Blade Vortex) that will run the remainder of the end game grinds for Uber labs and Atziris.

As for Hardcore....not a chance... I have been fighting more desync than monsters. Pretty much every second boss fight ends with me dying due to either the boss or myself being in a completely different location than my screen is showing me. I tried using lockstep but that is so painful, its like a really slow strategy game instead of an action rpg...

The desync is a real pain. I died the other night about 4 times trying to get some more trial keys for Uber Lab. Sucks when you die at higher levels. The amount of XP you loose and to regain them is such a pain. Ah well. Even without the desync I would prob. still die here and there because of my lack of skill.

Edit; I am thinking trying out a Dark Pact build.

Lost a SR and another ball lightning build this weekend.

SR to a meteor and the ball lightning to corrupted blood.

Now onto a ED build and wow... the clearspeed is stupidly fast. Contagion ED and walk away while everything dies and causes a chain effect to everything.

Over 1000 chaos sunk into trying to fuse my Lightning Coil. Could have bought 2x 6-Linked Lightning Coils for that already.... Welp this far down the rabbit hole already might as well see how far this bad luck goes.

I finally decided I hate POE XP penalty when dying.

Last night I died 4x.
1x because I am a noob
2x because of dsync
1x screen froze and then the game crashed. When I went back in, I noticed my XP bar dropped, so yip. I died.

At level 91 that is not fun. Going to take a lot of maps to make up for the xp loss, if I do not die again.

Can't they just drop the whole XP penalty thing or you pay some form of currency upon death if you want to keep your XP. Not every one have sub 100 pings or have the time to redo all the XP which was lost.

Ah well.

Maybe I should just play from level 1 with a fresh character.

Gave that up on Saturday though, started a char on HC. I needed something slow, something powerful, something that can fight through desync. I decided on Warchief totems. They have already shown desync the middle finger several times.
Currently at T3 maps on the atlas. Still need to buy the majority of the gear I need though. 0 Uber lab trials after about 20 maps.

Might as well try totem build too. I actually tried the Golem build, but it is so annoying if they get stuck. Open maps they are a blast, but once you are indoor they get stuck often. I then have to either move back or into the pack so that they can insta-teleport to me.

I have added convocation to my CWDT setup which seems to help a bit but it is not ideal.

Are you going to buy the Tokuhama's shield later on or can you play with only two totems ?

This build I am running is 2 totems. Facebreaker with all the standard gear that gives +phys dmg so the shield is Great Old One's Ward for the base physical damage.
Tukohama shield comes with the drawback of Blood Magic, so I can't use auras. It would work well on my RF totems though, that build uses blood magic and no auras.

I doubt you would want to try RF totems after 91 levels of RF, but if you do I have the gear for it.

Cool will do that tonight. I actually ran out of t10+ maps. So now I am down to t8 and t9 and if I get desperate I upgrade to t10 with the hopes more will drop if I do the t10.

I have found the going Beserker / Warcry is amazing. You see you going to die, just hit one of your warcry's ..... boom.......25% health recovered. 2s cooldown.........hit warcry.........boom 25% health.

Gonna aim for another 40/40, more mirrors than last league (Had 4 last league) and try for a lvl 100 with the new XP thresholds.

40% more xp from 99 to 100, sounds crazy.
40/40 looks easier than harbinger other than the grinds which we now need 4.

Didn't enjoy Harbinger league (mostly was salty about the massive nerf to the SRS arua build I liked - though the more recent QOL changes to spectre builds have soothed the hurt somewhat - to the point my mid 90's SRS build had its nice legacy items stolen by a 4 spectre build), and after legacy the legue was pretty boring by comparison so been playing standard since then. Hopefully, this league has a bit more going for it, it already sounds more interesting.

You guys/girls got any builds in mind for the new league?

So how are you guys enjoying the new league? I am still leveling, only 63 now in act 9. Trying out a Lightning Tendrils CWC Arc Inquisitor, super squishy at the moment but that is just my lazy gearing.
