I've recently been looking at products on loot.co.za, but I don't know anyone personally who has bought from them, so I decided to post it on here.

So are they legit and trustworthy ?
Any problems or horror stories dealing with them for warranty and returns ?

Thanks in advance

yes, they are the alternative to takealot,

I can vouch for loot as well, have ordered with them a couple of times.

They are legit. People have had issues with them, these often relate to products that are imported (i.e. things with a lead time of 8 or more days). But overall I've bought from them before and I'd rather buy from them than Evetech.

Do they give a refund if those items aren't in stock anymore ?

I had no issues with them, Ordered goods of R3000, Canceled my order a week later, got refunded in like 3/4 days into my bank account. Ordered a few times after that again, Was about 2/3 months ago.

Loot.co.za is a leading and rapidly expanding, hyper-growth South African online retailer. Loot was launched in 2003 with a big focus on books
I was literally a teenager when I placed my first order with them.

Wonderful, they are legit.
I guess I'll close off this thread now because I've gotten my answer.

Thanks again guys
