Original says 7.2V battery but OP says 11.1V. Perhaps that’s why.

@Jaacques how long have you used it with the upgraded battery?

This come from a complete noob, but does only using a bigger battery increase speed - how does the motor handle the increase in V?
No risk of burning it ?

Bigger capacity (ah) doesn’t increase speed but a voltage increase will definitely. Depending on the motor, it could result in damage and that’s why I asked how long he has used it.

Some motors have a large voltage range so it could be fine.

Luckily I know enough to know the difference between ah and v, before you think I'm a total fool :p
Not clueless, just my math that sucks.

Second sentence answers it though, thank you.

Sorry guys only saw this now, No the original guys were removed. There is a 60amp Brushless ECS in there nowq hobbywing, With a 9T brushless. Gearing makes it around 95 to 100. I was unsure but its really quick. I actually made the 11.1v battery. Its been a less then 10 full cycles on the 11.1v. I also have a spare Spur gear if need be.
