They may also have an option on Drugovich. And if he gets the Aston seat, they will have dibs at Alonso.

Merc has the luxury to sit on it, worse case they can put Mick in the seat. I doubt it will get to that.

Seems like at this stage it will be Carlos that will trigger the dominoes. If I was Red Bull, I would offer him a 1 year and bump Perez down to RB.

Although I really don't want him to go to Redbull , i want him to be able to grow into a team and obviously that's hard right now.

Would love for him to go to merc but with George there already and Alex/Kimi being options I doubt he'll go there

Mclaren and Ferrari are locked up so its likely going to be redbull unfortunately

Not really in the hybrid era. Even when we had a dominant car we still had competitive teammates (Hamilton vs Rosberg, Hamilton vs Bottas the early years) or a rival that could win races without relying on DNFs (Hamilton vs Vettel, Hamilton vs Verstappen).

Now we just have pure dominance like Seb in 2011 and 2013. And until 2026 it will likely stay the same.

Atleast the fight for the last podium spot is quite good, Merc/Ferrari/McLaren/Alonso all in the fight depending on who gets the strategy right.

Qualifying for the main race is tomorrow after the sprint. He could still get the record.
