Good day Carbies

Any chance someone has a leak tester laying around I could borrow or buy if the price is right? Need it for a 1 time use so do not really want to buy 1. I do not mind paying the shipping both ways if needed. Watercooling parts only arriving end of May so will only need it then for max a couple days.

Let me know ta

If you're still looking, I have one you can borrow. But you'll need to pay for a courier from Joburg.

TCG is about R120.00 each way if you do a flyer bag from Kiosk to Door.

Thanks so much, Parts are only coming in a couple of weeks so will DM you to make arrangements closer to the time, you a life saver.

PS: Sorry gents yes I am in CPT

@chase11111 do you really need one? I've never used a leak tester and I've done probably close to 100 (if not more) custom loops over the last 20 years and never had a leak. Literally, never.

Usually I would not be worried but I am going to be using EK micro push in fittings, these do not have a compression collar and because I am doing a very small SFF build and a custom distro plate I am a little worried that something may misalign and create a leak. Purely for piece of mind as I have spent around R40k on components.

I use a refrigerant manifold and a bicycle pump.

Funny enough I work in the engineering industry hydro testing all sorts of assemblies so I have lots of pumps and gauges etc,. at work so I could probably make something up but would prefer to use 1 designed for pc testing as it has the right fittings and designed for the right pressure. I am just being a but lazy and would rather pay just to use the right thing.
