This has an intermittent issue where it randomly shuts down with a red light on the self test. If you leave it for a few minutes it works fine again and would work without issues for days before doing this again. If I do the self test on the unit without anything connected it’s all green and the fans come on. This problem has not surfaced at all with me using the AX1600i so there def is something not 100% with this psu
Hence the price for someone who knows how to fix this and willing to risk it. I tried the RMA route and corsair was going to replace it with a HX1500i but because it was already an RMA on a AX1200 which has a 7 year warranty the warranty has lapsed
