Description of Bad Deal:
I will try to keep it short. I've dealt with Flipper before by checking with people who commented on deals they had with him, and all said the deals went well.
I checked with them as his iTrader is none existing.
With more confidence in dealing with him I've contacted him back in the day and transactions went very smooth.
This time around, I wanted to buy Takealot vouchers again and he was still my go to person. Unfortunately the payment was done, he claimed that he did not get it, and I believed him as we've had a good history in the past.
So with this, we both started to check with our banks (me - ABSA) (he - Capitec) to see where the funds went. Back and forward with the banks and today I got confirmation that ABSA checked with Capitec, the funds were received and already withdrew.
Anyway, not here to cry about it, perhaps just a wake-up call for myself, as I thought I had the buy and sell thing under the belt haha. I see his nickname is not picking up when I do the @Flipper, so perhaps he is not even on Carb anymore.
For what it is worth, I am pushing through with a police case and reporting the same to the bank etc.
