Just from reading the requirements on bamboo the company actually feel like they've got a nice culture about them.

Pity you can't see the salary (I understand why so no need to explain).

I actually prefer seeing a salary range.

The whole thing about companies not showing salary ranges is just scummy to me. I have twice in my life low balled myself because I did not want to come across as out of budget.

A range will also make more people apply if they see its worth the effort to leave their current jobs

Nah dude, people should know what they're worth in the marketplace and ask for that upfront. If they can't/won't pay the prospective employee that much, they're probably not going to offer market related increases. Of course there's the off chance that the guy is just not worth as much as they might suspect, I've had a couple of those in interviews. But they're easy to figure out during the interview, there's always this smug air about them.
