Update 2: The three Asus turbo editions are to be made into gaming pc's for family & friends and are no longer for sale. Changed their minds, selling again.

Yes, Three of them are exactly as the pic in my link shows, the other two are Founders edition versions, look more like the one from gigabyte, but all of them only have the one fan.

Well I wouldnt say it is useless. If you want to run continuous high fps in 2560x1440 or higher they should work nicely on a vey demanding game. Widescreen I would think is where they should shine with higher VRAM. Even in 4K. Althoug dont be fooled in thinking 2 x 1080ti = twice single 1080ti performance. It has never worked like that. You get about 30% from 2nd card. Software is always behind hardware snd driver updates might still help a bit.
