Zimbabwean Passport

Hey guys, not sure if this is the correct section but anyway.

Does anyone have any insights on Zimbabwean passports and work permits? Our domestic worker has to renew her documents and claims that her best/only option is the emergency passport for $318. Some of my googling suggests much lower prices, but it takes longer then.

Do you guys know what the costs and time frames are or anyone who can assist with this?

There was/is corruption and lack of supplies so I believe many had to resort to illegal docs as the official process was so slow and risked expiry of docs. That was 1-2 years ago, but with the gradual decolonisation it only probably got worse.
