And are you sure it died? Can be mighty finicky to get Uni Xonar drivers installed, but I can confirm, they still work 100% with Windows 10 version 2004.

The unit shows the power is not connected so if you try to open the Asus control panel, it won't open and says you need to connect the power. Def connected and tested in diff machines.

Probably not going to work for you, but I do have the older ST (PCI, not PCIe version) + H6 extension card available if interested. Took it out 2 weeks ago and been meaning to put it up for sale.
