Looking at upgrading to the new Ryzen 7 3700x. I stream and game from a single pc and I was wondering how essential a x570 mobo will be to the setup

get b450 model, spend 3k more on a better gpu/cpu

Only advantage is pci gen 4 for NVME speed

no difference in gaming performance.

ALSO, 3600 is best value for money.

Appreciate the input

streamers can correct me if im on nyaope. but the thing with streaming is, you can use the built in software that comes with nvidia/amd,
ShadowPlay and Relive

i was able to record on a RX580 @ 1080p with a Pentium 4560 with only like a 5% drop in frames while playing csgo. @ 220fps, no stuttering, no destruction of my pc.. SO i dont think you need fuck strong stuff to stream unless using external software other than ShadowPlay and Relive, i might be mistaken though.

I added the following video so it starts at the time it shows some csgo performance. Just rewind if you want to see the whole thing..

Very interesting stuff

The cost vs benefit was the major concern for me. Don't really want to be spending unnecessarily when I could be putting the cash into other components that would give me better performance

Ryzen also smaaks 3200-3600mhz memory.. Make sure to get the correct stuff. DO LOADS OF RESEARCH

be aware that ryzen also doesnt clock super high. people wont generally get over 4.4ghz on it at max, if you win the silicone lotto, perhaps yes..
in lots of situations the stock cores the boosting outperform an all core OC on a system
