Hey all,

Item Wanted: Wireless headphones/earphones for working out
Packaging Essential: Nope
Desired Age: Less than 1 year
Location: JHB/Cape Town
Willing to accept a shipped item: Yes
Ballpark/Budget Amount: R1000 or less

Extra info:

I had the Hesh 3's that I was pleased with, but unfortunately they got stolen a couple months back. I have been looking at the following products. Any info from people who have owned/own them as well as any recommendations would also be greatly appreciated! I have mainly been looking are wireless earbuds because of the cheaper prices and I feel they may be more suitable for working out but am open to on ear/over ear headphones as well.

Skullcandy Method Wireless
Skullcandy Ink'd Wireless
Sound Magic E10BT
Skullcandy Smokin' Buds 2 Wireless

Skullcandy Method Wireless

Hey man as a current owner of a set of SkullCandy Method Wireless I HIGHLY recommend avoiding them unless you enjoy repairing electronics. I had my new set purchased from takealot that lasted approx 2 months before the left side stopped working, then another month later the right side too stopped working. Turns out the copper connections inside the wires wore out and needed replacement. I use them 5 days a week however so YMMV. Here's the video I used to repair mine which means it's a common problem. On a side note Takealot doesn't carry warranty for longer than a week or so on these items and I CBA to get a hold of Skullcandy themselves to repair them so I fixed my own.

Just thought I would share my input.
