I am afraid you won’t have many replies here if you don’t state a figure. Asking people for their CV’s without that is like asking them to sign a blank cheque.

So....basically you are looking for someone more competent at Windows and Servers and English than you are at English and forum posting?

"Provide a 24x7 service supervision through on call "

This hugely increases the cost (due to quality of person). At least R20k and R40k respectively.

Besides the bad English, there are some very open-ended "requirements" which most companies will end up shoving down your throat, leading to an excodus of talent.

Yes, exactly IT people are treated as a service. Please people it is time to stand up against this nonsense and the menial pay. IT is not a simple game compared to other occupations. The prblem is that we are too nice and that gets everybody pushed over. The mantle that this stuff is paraded under is ‘are you good enough’ and that is always used to drive prices. This will only change once people stand up against it.

True... I feel this daily with everything around us getting more expensive Companies are still paying or field way too little.
In my past interviews I used to say, if your not willing to pay me for what i know go get 2 kids straight out of school for that price and watch the world burn... From now on its go get atleast 5 of that kids. Cause no way im settling for anything under 35K next.
