Go with the Ranger for now I'd say. While you shop around and it buys you time to figure it all out. It's the same model I drive and absolutely love it. Plus , it almost sounds like you'll be driving it cost-free (?)Not bothered by mileage it part of the fleet...I could stand under correction but it a 2017 Ford Ranger 2.2tdci double cab XLT
Option, but you'll only get the entry level. No extra bells and whistles. VW and Audi ask an arm and a leg for anything extra.Hmmm think from my opinion, go for a VW Tiguan. I know they have nice interior and drive really comfortable.
Otherwise go for the Ford double cab.
Basically I only pay 20% tax value on the vehicleGo with the Ranger for now I'd say. While you shop around and it buys you time to figure it all out. It's the same model I drive and absolutely love it. Plus , it almost sounds like you'll be driving it cost-free (?)
Its not that I can sometimes spend the whole day driving. Do you know how frustrating it is not having an active map showing where all the fucks ups on the road are...I do not like having my cell mounted in my car so I would rather have a vehicle with Android Auto compatibility and a decent sound systemGone are the days where cars were for driving
It varies alot I can sometimes spend the whole day on the road driving around Gauteng from customer to customer. And the next day drive to Durban for a meeting and the follwing day the whole day at the office. Comfort yes please. Speed would be added bonus but do not want anything under say 80kw.How long do you spend in traffic daily? Do you do much driving (time/KM) in your personal time? Do you want comfort > speed?
I just voted and started moaning. SUV, car, bakkie whatwhat? Also go test drive the cars and choose something you like. CX5 is nice and all but the gearbox is iffy. Also R450k is not a lot these days. I would not buy new as that is a waste of money but in your case you need to. So get the CX5 active auto and save money for when you need to immigrate.HUh? Budget is in the second paragraph? I did ask what people would buy if they could?
