<insert many reasons for switching to Ryzen>

Going for a 3600.

I have around R4k for a motherboard. I’d love to go ITX if possible and built in WiFi would be great, but both those things suddenly mean R5k for a board :/

I’m a sucker for a good looking board, which Gigabyte seems to do for cheap. Are they any good though? Do you get what you pay for or is there more to it?
I’ve always been an Asus fanboy but availability??

Good move on going with AMD, very happy with mine.

Wanted to recommend the X570I but it is bit expensive, I am using the X570 Pro and very happy with it. The only downside for me is the aggressive fan curve in the BIOS, reviving your CPU fan constantly when the CPU temperatures fluctuate, something the 3700X does a lot.

What about this one:

I was very impressed with the service I got from Techfox and will definitely support them in the future.

Woot's price on that one is R4999. So their pricing is very good.

Good luck with your search.

When we were looking at B450 boards the MSI Tomahawk was one of the best, plenty capable of overclocking well.

I assume not much has changed with regards to the B550 Tomahawk, so that might be worth a look.

Hey Man,

I recently upgraded to the 3700X with a B550 ITX motherboard, Gigabyte B550 Pro -

Depending on features etc, you can even go for the Gigabyte B550 Elite, this one should save you a few bucks..

I'm very happy with the board, looks amazing etc, if you decided on the board, PM me, Might be able to help you out with a supplier.

If you don't mind waiting for an import you could look at this:

There you go.

All my searching and I didn't find this? That's a great price; thank you.

Big oef Linus, that's nice - only available 21 July and then I have to wait for the import as well. Nice find but not going to work for me unfortunately.
