my RX580 8GB OC broke recently, i have no idea how or why it broke but i was wondering if anyone knows a place?

fans not working and no signal on monitor
Sounds like its fried. Any lights coming on the card and have you tried the gpu in another pc with a different psu?

So your psu could be faulty but highly unlikely if the rest of your pc is booting but id still test it with a different psu.

You can try Cache Computers in Brackenfell. I was there recently and the owner mentioned to me that they do GPU repairs. I have no idea how good they are at GPU repairs but I found the owner to be very friendly, professional and helpful.

my psu broke a month after my cards fans stopped and no signal etc. it was a lestech 500w from loot.co.za. none of the gpus lights come on when i start my system however a little red led does shine on my mobo with the text VGA ontop of it.

i have tried the gpu in a different system to no avail.

Please don't buy cheap PSUs 😢😭

i was in a rush. do you think it was yhe psu that killed it?
Won't be surprised, but it could also be literally anything else.

It just isn't a good sign for the GPU to not work in other PCs with (presumably) other power supplies. Have you confirmed that all your other components in the system are fully functional?

yep everything was functional for a whole month after the rx580 "broke". i had a gt430 in it up until i took my pc into a repair place.

they were going to troubleshoot my rx580 and needed my whole computer to test. like 4 days after, i get a message saying my pc wont start and they think the power supply is broken/faulty. i just cut my losses and fetched my system. now im gonna have to buy a new gpu and psu

they were completely clueless when i asked what they did to it.

repair place is called iREPAIRER btw
