Y'ello carbies.

As the title suggests. Crazy that I'm asking this question in 2022 but is it possible?

Got a googledrive backup from my S20-Ultra of my whatsapp chats, want to migrate my chat history into my iPhone13PM.

Is there a legit way to do this?

Failing that, have any of you successfully used one of the 3rd party apps which are available?

Any other tips, otherwise, should I just kiss 4 years of chat history goodbye?

Someone did this on MyBB
Post in thread 'Android >>> iOS' Android >>> iOS
That has to be the most painful thread IN THE WORLD to try find info in, lol.

But I think I found the post you're referring to.

Can you have multiple users logged in without having to log out now?

Both me and the wife use ours on the same PC, and last time I tried it (like a year ago), you had to manually log in/out every time to switch users.

Chrome with different profiles work much better IMO. Unless the desktop has some features you really need that you don't get on the browser version, I don't see the point.

No idea. I only have one account as I’m not a drug dealer.

hmm how does this work? because i tried it the other day and as soon as i verified the whatsapp on the new iphone,my whatsapp desktop signed out
Mine did the same, although both my old and new phones were Android.

For me, the main desktop feature is being able to do WhatsApp calls on desktop.

You can also do one account on Desktop and one on Chrome, that is what I did when I was running an account for my company in addition to my personal one.

Never used that, but that's definitely useful.

We already run both in our respective Chrome profiles, and we don't need Whatsapp calling from our computer, so it's fine then if that's all we're missing out on.

I've been using it for ages on all desktops, great app, but I dont know how it will help, as it suncs wityh my phone... So if I lose the history on my phone, then it will still be gone when I use whatsapp on my pc wont it? and I dont see any backup / export / migrate options in it
