How much did that cost you?
Was the butter a surcharge or did they tell you that you don't need butter on it? 😁

Cost me R15k 18 months ago; was 9 months old at the time. Here :)
Looks like it's going to give me another year or two no problem.

All these little issues I keep finding with the S21+ (I get this issue isn't necessarily because it's an S21+) make me miss my Note 9 so much. Height of Samsung's design for me personally. IMHO
You can always swap me for my Note10 lite :p

Lol, nah. Note 9 had everything. It would kill if Samsung re-released the Note 9 but with updated specs. Everything must stay the same, even the feature set can stay the same. Stick an updated camera, a 120Hz screen, an updated processor and everything exactly the same. An absolute banger of a device.

So basically the note 10 lite?

lol, no. That is an entirely different phone. Definitely not the same. Want a biometric authentication method? Note 9 has them all. Want wireless or wired audio? Dope. Want a dank af massive battery? Dope. Want a QHD screen? Dope. Want Gorilla Glass 5? Dope. A lot of things were removed to get from the Note 9 to the newer notes. I don't know.

The Note is supposed to be the "everything" phone. I think the last "everything" Note was the Note 9. Every other Note has some sort of compromise you have to make to get it. And yes, I will always be butthurt about the audio jack. :ROFLMAO:

EDIT: I see the Note 10 Lite has a bigger battery. So my mistake on that end.

Also has a audio jack :p
But yea, some features from the Note 10 could just as well have been on the Lite as well, but overall its a awesome phone.

My mistake, did not know it still had the audio jack. F. Yeah, am not saying it isn't an awesome phone. I think even the S21 lineup is full of great phones, at what I believe are relatively decent prices considering where we are.

I just think the Note 9 seemed to hit ALL the angles at least decent enough. Just my personal use case I think.

I didn't read the entire thread but I have to ask

Why are you using WhatsApp web on a phone?

Install the app?

As side note, my WhatsApp notifications are now bugged af. Not coming through unless I open the app on my phone.

All settings have been checked and rechecked. REEEEEEE

Same issue on my Samsung S20 - Laptop & phone both on WiFi

Thought it was just a me problem - fsck

Ok so I'll chip in with actual advise and not tell you that you are wrong for not liking the same brand of phone as me (iPhone people I see you).

I once had this issue as well. I have a OnePlus 6T so I'm not sure what settings are the same. For me it was a battery optimizer setting. So in settings see if there is anything like that. Maybe under "Apps" or something. If there is any kind of "Intelligent Control" option for battery settings turned on, then turn that off and see if it helps.

If not for individual apps then maybe its a general setting for your phone.

Yup. Shoulda read.

I was thoroughly confused for a bit there until my brain finally decided maybe it's time to put some coal in the furnace and voila.

So possibly some advice idk

These are my settings currently (Samsung A30 running Android 10 and one ui 2.0

How I got there:

Long press whatsapp > App info > Battery.

I have never had issues, use whatsapp web flawlessly with my phone in the other room.

Thank you! This seems to have fixed it. To everyone having the same sort of issue, what I did was go to this screen here, click on "optimize battery usage". It will open a page of all the unoptimized apps for whatever reason. Click on the drop down and change to all the apps or all the optimized apps, scroll to the bottom, turn whatsapp off.

That seems to have totally fixed the issue for me. Can now receive whatsapp messages directly to WhatsappWebToGo on my tablet without worrying about my phone. Thanks guys!
