I’m playing with undervolting etc so I need to see temps, clocks and voltages from within full screen applications.

Wattman is great but the overlay randomly disappears. Toggle overlay hotkey doesn’t help.

MSI Afterburner has a surprising degree of support for showing Vega’s power usage etc, but the readings randomly freeze.

Two great options but both have weird issues. No lockups/artefacts/issues with the games/benchmarks, just the overlays.

Any suggested alternatives or ways of fixing the ones I’ve tried?

Yup
Should have included that in OP.

This may sound silly, but as a temporary solution, you can install the AB mobile app and use the figures there, and you can overclock on the fly.

Not silly at all. Good idea!
I only need the numbers for a few days while I get the undervolt and overclock settled in.

Edit - iOS version of Afterburner Mobile "coming soon". Sigh.

Take my advice with a grain of salt as ive never done it before.

Sorry in advance if it doesnt work.

If no luck with overlays, try HWMonitor or GPU-Z and log the readouts, then check after a normal usage session? Not ideal but will provide the info you need while tweaking things.
