What multiplayer FPS is everyone playing?

@Thanatos246 I have no big issue with the hero abilities in the normal game play. I quite enjoy it. My issue is that people can use them in game modes like instagib. Constantly getting shot with Keel's grenade launcher while playing instagib seriously defeats the purpose.

Do people still play Rainbow Six Siege? I'm interested in getting it but don't know if we have servers here and if people actually still play it

Siege is extremely popular on all formats. It's consistently the 4th most played games on Steam. Huge on consoles too. No local servers though, but the game style means this doesn't bother so much.

Vermintide 2 is great fun, especially with mates. Although it's more of a First Person Hack n' Slash.

Thanks @HelloCat , I'll nab this. Doesn't look like we get it on Steam though, will have to go through Uplay store thing

Borderlands 2 is where it's at my dudes. FPS RPG and LOOT!

And all Borderlands is on special right now on Steam. Only real struggle is coordinating with friends to play at the same time. But allows for some great laughs and fun.

Grindframe aka Warframe. Used to be shit at it, now I'm not so shit at it.

Warface I dont play any more. I get tired of campers real quick and I can't quite wrap my mind around the temp use items.

I play siege most of the time. We are getting servers but it hasn't happened yet. Still in the works.

Im playing Rust. It's more of a survival FPS game. Super fucking epic game.

Life. Absorbing gameplay, keeps me rather busy!

@souljazk do you play “easy, hard, or insane mode” and what level are you on?

Thanks. I got it. Lots of fun. I would slay some noobs with a better ping though, hopefully the deploy on those Azure servers soon.

Azure did comment on the servers for siege. "General Manager for Azure Experience & Partner Marketing, Victoria Grady, confirmed that the company would roll out data centres in Johannesburg and Cape Town in 2018".

Lately I find that a lot of noobs have started to play siege as well, leading to bad teammates. Are you experiencing this too?

Yea, some evenings I'm that noob.

Probably the only multiplayer FPS game I play is borderlands 1; 2. Haven't played it in a while though. How often do you play?

Play BL 2 quite a bit, although depends on how busy the week is. It's basically the only thing I play lately - convinced half the people in my office to buy it but everyone has busy evening schedules

Black Squad now. TF2 now and then. Ghost Recon Phantoms before it closed.

Black Squad and R6 mostly. Love Siege and Black Squad is growing so I want to stay with it to see where it goes, 8v8/10v10 Demolition is fun af, gets intense.

Recently started playing siege but the learning curve is extremely high and cant help but feel like i got into it far too late. Lots of map knowledge required and knowing the right operator to use is quite a task for me. When it all comes together its extremely fun though and the ping doesnt bother me too much compared to most shooters with a high ping.

Duplicate removed, post below with quoted.

Ping isn't to much of a problem except for close encounters, that's where I have found ping to surface mostly. I only started playing on the free weekend, I use Ubisoft app to try and learn what is cracking on map knowledge because their assistant "Sam" can be asked anything on the game and gives you a tips videos daily which can be quite useful, I've saved those videos just haven't watched them so far xD. I love Siege, I want to sink time into that game because although it is a lean simulator I enjoy the outcomes and plays that can take place.

ALSO - if you play siege and want R6 credits, not renown. There is this new extension partnering with twitch/ubi. You watch a streamer who has this feature enabled, Azarus, the name of the extention. Asks you questions based on the streamer playing R6(I.E. how many headshots Did Bob get in the game he just played, answer first(one of) and correctly, you get tokens, which can be used to on Azarus to purchase R6 credits. I think it is pretty neat, although it can be a grind, but at least it does not offer you one or two R6 credits at a time(I believe it the normal bundles of R6 credits that ubi themselves offer). It gives you 5 or 10 Azarus token, so the azarus tokens may take a bit to collect, but still, free credits, it just means spending your time watching a streamer, for the possibility of getting tokens xD)

Rainbow Six Siege every now and again - Finally at the point where I feel I'm beginning to understand the game.
Also surprised to see a lot of fellow Carb members playing, drop an invite to Moordworsie_za if you feel like your squad needs cannon fodder. ;)

Also had a go at the Black Ops "Blackout" beta - I feel that it's more polished that PUBG, faster gameplay, smoother combat, some forms of local servers (had 40ms in some matches).
But dropping R900-plus on a game is a bit out of the budget at the moment..
Definitely going to give Battlefield V a go with Origin Premier Access.
