I guess it depends on what you mine? But for ETH mining, you need at least 6GB of VRAM and those currently don’t go for less than around R4K (GTX 1060 6Gb)

But also make sure that you are willing to "lose" that R3k if the coin market decides to dip even further.

Ive thaught about that but i would rather like to mine ETH, and i would also like to know what else you can use to mine because at the moment im using nice hash and its just taking too much of my profit.

At 3K your options are nearly nothing but if you are patient and stalk the amd gpu section then sometimes you can get a rx580 8gb for about 5k, thats as close as i can get you with my knowledge

If you running Nicehash, I'm assuming you have a PC with a decent card already? Why not install a mining program like Trex or TeamRedMiner and mine that way? You could also look at mining through unmineable - It wont make you huge profit, but it can get you away from Nicehash and help you be a little more independent
