How is the DayZ comm/playerbase in ZA I have taken a keen interest in the game and been binging it on YT/Twitch for a while now but never takent he plunge because I'm not buying another game with 10 concurrent players.
Look there are a few solid community's and the numbers can be all over the place. There are 3 main servers ZA50/Invoke and Ossewa. Each of them hold on average anything between 10-15 players on busy nights it will go up to 20-30 players per server. The maps used are massive so can be hard to find interaction but that does form part of its charm as its a risk all lose all environment. My opinion is don't bother with Ossewa toxic community and they seem to taking in all the hackers we ban from the other two. Invoke and ZA50 will most likely merge in the next month or so which will see more consistent numbers on a single server. It is definitely a game worth spending the money on the local community is large enough and it will give you hours of enjoyment. A recommendation is try to play with friends or meet people in game and form friendships as its even more a gem when you have a good friendly sqaud to run around with. There is no game that exists that gives you the same adrenaline and thrill as dayz gives when engaging an enemy or group.
Realistically, we should include a variety of games from various genres so that we are all forced out of our comfort zones, and work out a point system. Games can include those previously mentioned FPS and BR titles, but we should add racing, arcade, possibly MOBAs, and even older titles that some of the older guys are used to. The variety of games should be sufficient to where no one feels like they were screwed or excluded. A 3090 is quite a prize and it would suck to lose out if you didn’t feel like you even stood a chance.
