Here is my SPEC:
Ryzen 5 1400 running @ 3.2Ghz
MSI A320 GAMING PRO MOBO
8GB RAM (HyperX Black) 2400Mhz
256GB SSD (Samsung)
550/500W (Huntkey) PSU
R9 270x 2GB (Sapphire)
Running Windows 10 Pro (Updated) | GPU Drivers: Up to Date

Problem:
I used to able to play BF1 @ around 40-45fps on Ultra except mesh and something I forgot, but I was able to play the game with no problems. Windows 10 had its issues thats when it started to crash a lot but after the update to the latest build I was good again.

I downloaded the BFV Beta and I used the same settings as BF1. I am having issues with staying 3 mins in the game. Its either windows crashes or the pc freezes and closes BFV. I would get the red screen sometimes while playing the game. I wanted to upgrade a few things which I need some input and suggestions.

Ram from 8GB ==> 16GB
PSU to another brand maybe a 600W
MSI Mobo A320 ==> B350 (Overclock the cpu to 3.9Ghz Maybe?

GPU (I am looking at the R9 280x or GTX1060 3GB)

Your help will be appreciated.

I havent used the ryzen chips so cant say much about performance on it but my first point of call would be to get a 1060 6gb or 1070 8gb.

or maybe get one of the miners to borrow you one of the above cards to try for a weekend before considering anything else.

Beta is just bad to begin with thats why its called a beta but the issue you are having doesn't seem like hardware issues. If it is it might be GPU related. Does your pc run everything else fine? if so keep an eye on your temps on CPU and GPU while gaming to make sure they are okay. Might be GPU overheating or maybe even PSU that doesn't deliver enough power to your components because the CPU is more than capable. I would suggest getting a bigger PSU and GPU. Your mobo and ram is okay for now rather spend more on GPU

If you are situated in Pretoria I can borrow you one of my mining cards to test or I can come over and help you troubleshoot I have quite a bit of experience in this arena

System RAM and GPU.
The rest should then do ok.

I'd bet it's either system RAM or VRAM you are running out of to get the crashes. Most likely VRAM, so the GPU.

plus one on the ram and gpu upgrade!

GTX 970's are selling for cheap... if you can get a 1060 6gb
get 2x8gb 3200mhz gskill memory,
and if you have more cash get a b350 board to OC the CPU (there is atleast an extra 20% performance available in that CPU)

Thank you for your inputs and suggestions. I will put that into consideration as I am looking to do the small upgrades for now. The PSU fan is also noisy and sometimes on startup it does make that annoying noise it definitely needs to be replaced.

is 500W enough?
600W? I can go as far as that Please recommend a PSU.

I would say look at the Superflower 550w psu. I am running one with a OC'd cpu and no issues regarding power consumption at all.
This however is only if you absolutely have to change your PSU.
However if you are in cpt - northern suburbs you are more than welcome to bring your pc over and we can test with some of my components too (gpu/ram/psu) to see at which point the game is happy on your mobo/cpu setup.

I would however agree with the above that your gpu definitely needs a upgrade to atleast a 980/1060 6gb.
Perhaps even look at some of the 980ti's that was going around for about R3500

VRAM is key. Most games require 6gigs or so to run smoothly. 1060-3gig isn’t going to cut it.

I tried to run BF1 with 8 gigs of system RAM on ultra and it sucked. Dropped it to medium and it was peachy.

BF5 favours more CPU cores so you are solid there.

500 Watts with a good brand PSU will be great. SuperFlower is great. Your PSU is making the same sound my friends PSU made before it died and took his whole system with it.

Hope this helps.
