Hey guys,

I play warzone on 1080p

My pc specs are as follow:

i5 6600
vega 56
16gb ram
windows 10
256gb ssd (warzone installed on it)
3tb hdd

So the first thing is, i get dev error 6068 ALOT. I tried everything and i still get the error. Last night, i got it 4 times. Reinstalled the game again.

I disabled the windows firewall and antivirus, i disabled the radeon overlay also.

FPS.

So my FPS is ranging from 61fps to 130fps. Theres a spot next to stadium where im getting 55fps.

I turned a few stuff down also.

Can anyone recommend settings i can use to get more fps.

Thanks

Dom

So there's definitely something up here that isn't just the game being bad.

I have a similar system, but my FPS doesn't really go below 80 at worst and usually sits around 120 or higher. I also haven't had a dev error or similar crash in months (had a 3770K + Vega 56 and now 3300x + Vega 56, both very solid for Warzone in terms of no crashes).

My Vega 56 is undervolted to 1.06v at 130% power target at a clock of 1650mhz and memory OC'd to 850mhz. The memory OC especially makes a big difference to frames, but it's not the best so it can't go any higher than 850. Vega unfortunately/fortunately depending on your perspective takes tweaking to get the best gains. Is your Vega 56 a reference design or has it got beefier cooling?

1080p 144hz Freesync

I lower texture res to Normal
Anisotropic to High (big impact on visuals for practically zero perf hit),
Tessellation disabled,
Shadow map high,
cache shadows + sun enabled,
particles medium,
ambient occlusion low,
antialiasing 1x (i find both of the 2x options make everything unacceptably blurry for a biggish hit on performance),
depth of field off (ew, why keep this on?!), the rest off.

I also run Radeon Image Sharpening at 70%, makes a nice difference for no perceptible frame loss.

Try some of those changes, but the dev error is more of an issue.

First:
Graphics drivers fully reinstalled with Display Driver Uninstaller and updated to latest version?
Windows updated and stable?
Page file existing/system managed? (even with 16GB ram, the game doesn't seem to like disabled pagefiles, which some people still do)

I assume you've done a bunch of things suggested online like here: Call of Duty: Warzone DEV ERROR 6068 Fix - Gamer Journalist
And while you're in that advanced options file, you can set your renderer worker count to your physical cores as well.

Hi,

So now im getting 75fps to 140fps. I found a website (prosettings or something like that) and they gave a explanation of every graphics setting. I left the textures on high, and played around with the rest. I reinstalled the game and so far no dev error 6068.

I did update all the drivers after reading your post so hopefully it helps with the dev error

Cool, glad you're hopefully sorted, I was sure you could get more out of that rig :)
