Hello all...
Can someone pls help me.
I want to setup a Vpn just after my Internet router, wich does not support installing a Vpn
So do you get like a Switch with a Vpn installed /or that you can install?
It must be like hardware based not software, do not want to install it on a machine but just after my Internet connection so that all my stuff will go through a Vpn
Thanks in advance, also not the most expensive stuff

Thanks, then I could also use a server,, just do not want the hassle of using Windows home server and setting up everything
I have a few Hp Ml servers that is not doing anything
You do get switches/routers that you can install a vpn on

Wow... this thread made me smile a bit.

first - yes, you do get switches that can load tpvm, and run all kinds of tools, even full blown unix OS - but that is not really affordable in these places.

second - take that server, load something like untangle on the barebones and run the entire network through that and ditch the ISP router, it's not needed. you just need two nics. Or load any other ngfw software like pfsense.

this is exactly what I do - and I have different devices going through different tunnels depending on my vpn needs.

You can also look at softener.net just run it on any pc. It also comes with a free dynamic dns name so you can use if you don't have a static public ip eg myhostname.softether.net

Thanks , what is the cost of untangle after your 14 days trial?

Untangle is free. you only pay for some of the apps if you want them.

Easiest would be to get a more customizable router - Ditch the ISP provided routers

I am on Rain 5G so not sure other routers are compatible
