I am this close, THIS close, from breaking this controller using my face.

I bought an el-cheapo Mustek Bluetooth dongle from Takealot, but the input lag is infuriating.

The controller is a badass Cyberpunk Collectors Edition Xbox One controller with Bluetooth support. The controller comes in the box scratched and busted, how cool is that? Very cool, you pay R500 extra for those scratches, Capitalism was a mistake.

Now the correct answer to the problem is to buy a Microsoft Wireless Dongle, but there's no stock of these! Can someone recommend a not kak Bluetooth dongle for my PC Computer? Please, my heart isn't going to take getting owned in Modern Warfare because I move around like I'm on LSD.

EDIT: Also, if anyone from Mustek is reading this, 30m range? Are you high? I have strapped the dongle to my FOREHEAD, and it still lags! Charlatans! I will have my revenge, Mustek, DO YOU HEAR ME?

Thank you!

EDIT: Adding picture of controller to show off, notice it says "NO FUTURE", that's "NO FUTURE FOR MUSTEK'S SH*TTY DONGLES"

If you're that close to breaking the controller using your face - it would only make sense to follow through and see if it solves your problem.

Seems to me you've answered your own question. Seems you know exactly where the issue is and logic would dictate resolving your entire issue by going the more accepted route.
Perhaps try another BT 2.1 or better dongle. Not the cheap and nasty option.

It's a pretty good quality controller, not too confident my face will survive the confrontation.

mmm... can you maybe recommend me a specific dongle?

I used this one previously before my pc had built in BT and never had issues with it with my ps4 controller, even when 2 controllers were connected

Lost it somewhere, so not sure how it would work with the cyberspunk controller tbh

I've actually used this one very successfully on a few Xbox One V1 and V2 and DS4 controllers

Yeah! This one seems like THE ONE, the reviews there are great.

I'm going to call the CEO of Mustek now and kak him out for 2 hours, thank you.

You know what also sucks? Microsoft making this badass proprietary controller wireless standard, clamping it down to only their dongle, and not supplying their dongle, that's some next level trolling.

Wait - you're going to call the CEO of Mustek to crap him out for a BT dongle? One that you bought despite the deviation from the MS recommended route?

You really should try breaking that controller with your face - that would make more sense than phoning the CEO

The obvious solution is to just go wired. Everyone knows wired is better.
Can you recommend me any elite gaming USB cables? I refuse to desecrate this precious collector's item with plebeian phone chargers.

I can't unfortunately. They came standard with my gaming keyboard and mouse. PCMR BABY!
I enjoy the analogue control the controller affords, and the vibration reminds me I'm alive.

Aha I see.

The kill feed in Warzone reminds me I'm alive when I hear noobs swearing when I kill them.

Surely someone has made l33tz0r USB gam0r cables by now?

Speaking of

........... think I'm going to go with that Dongle on Takealot instead, lol.

These USB cables also get contact issues with time, maybe I'm just used to cheap crap, though.

Using one of these in my wife's pc and works great with the recon tech and ds4 controller, I've got a asus bt400 dongle which is amazing but you don't get them anymore as far as I know.

Sent from my Redmi 8 using Tapatalk

Exact same controller but running it with a Avantree BTDG-40S bluetooth dongle - works like a dream. Just checked though and see it's not available on Takealot anymore but you can bring it in from Amazon
