I need some help / advice with Video Conversion. Source Video is already in MP4 format but unfortunately was taken with a fisheye lens (for 360 effect).

Playback is done via PixPro SP360 so you can change angle / etc, but seems a bit shit that you have to use proprietary software for video playback.

What can be used to convert this (these, I have 3 of them)? I don't feel like spending thousands on licenses for something that will be used once.

It looks like this though. How would I change the 360 perspective on this?

Where would you do most of the playback?
I backup my videos on Google Photos... 360 Pictures and video.

I can do full 360 view with the phone.

Unit used is the LG 360 cam.

Windows mostly as that is what I got software for. Will give it a shot with Google Photos on my tablet (Samsung Tab S3). Can try my phone too (Huawei P20 Lite).

Are you trying to convert it from the 360 view to normal view?

Might be of some help?
Topic: How to transform a video sphere :: IVRPA

Other advice found that may work:

Using Adobe Media Encoder CC 2015...
  • Import your Kodak 360 MP4 video.
  • Set Format: H264
  • Set Resolution: 3920x1980
  • Set edge rate to 30fps
  • Set target bit rate to 20
  • Set greatest piece rate to 20
  • Encode.
(what all that does, I haven't got the foggiest)
