I bought a Logitech G27 wheel and pedals several years ago and then modded it by removing the original G27 wheel rim and replacing it with a custom made F1 style wheel.

The custom wheel was originally made as a prototype with the plan of rebuilding it to look like a professionally made one. However, I decided to use the prototype as is and its given me many years of rock solid reliability.

The wheel is built around a Leo Bodnar SLI Pro display controller and features, two 12 position rotary switches to change the display to show speed, rpm, fuel, position etc, three rotary encoders that can be used to adjust brake bias, engine modes, throttle shaped etc and 10 buttons that can be assigned to functions like pilate speed limit, DRS activation, radio chat etc.

The SLI- Pro with aluminium enclosure sells for £170 excluding the cables, encoders, switches etc.

The G27 pedals are standard. This system works on iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, F1 2020, Rfactor 2 etc.

I'm thinking of selling it since it's been replaced recently but would like opinions on what you guys think it's worth. I don't want to sell it for peanuts since it's a custom mod that many people don't see any value in. The pedals and steering wheel/wheelbase works 100% but there's of course no warranty.

So, what do you guys think its worth and is there anyone interested in buying it?

Going to keep it, strip the wheel of the wheelbase and use it as a digital clock.

Why would the paddle shifters not work? Could they be repaired?
The F1 wheel was built around a SLI-Pro display that is also a controller. The G27’s circuit board was modded to disconnect the shifters switches and then connected to the SLI-Pro.

It can be soldered and put back the way it was which means that the F1 wheel won’t work but the original wheel will.

Since I’m now quite fond of my new F1 digital clock, I’m not going to bother trying to fix the G27.

Hey there, I'm keen on the circuit board inside they g27 wheel as I ruined mine with some soldering
